Process
.
The materials come from fallen trees all over the country, and as new and unique projects arise, We search deeper to find the exact right shapes and species. After we've established your design preferences and budget, we will send you a selection of unfinished pieces to choose from. Then, once you select your wood, we custom design a base in your style choosing, to the contours of your piece.
We can provide 3D renderings and shop drawings prior to production.
Clients
Along with residential, commercial and individual customers, Fallen Industry works with some of the nations top interior designers, decorators and firms for large and small projects of every kind.
Paul Kruger
Paul Kruger was born and raised in New York City and attended art schools throughout his early life, including the specialized fine art high school LaGuardia, later earning his BFA at The School of Visual Arts (SVA) in lower Manhattan.
As a form of therapy, in 2008, he began to take longs walks along the Hudson River and saw seas of industrial man-made NYC driftwood left for waste. He began recycling the driftwood into sculptures, and as he fine turned his craft, creating furniture and architectural elements from fallen trees from across the nation.
The designs of Fallen Industry come from seeing new purpose and beauty in what would otherwise have been discarded or destroyed.
